Sr Infrastructure Architect - Enterprise / Commercial Network

Role Summary:The Senior Infrastructure Architect will be responsible for architecting & driving network architecture, programs and support for the internet working environment at GE. This will include interacting with strategic global vendors to maintain and support our infrastructure, making changes to critical infrastructure, resolving incidents, leading problem tickets, & driving programs to increase the performance and availability of our environment. This role reports to the Sr Director- Architecture.
Essential Responsibilities:
Own and lead technical global Lighting & Current network programs and initiatives; provide technical architecture oversight as well as ability to lead and drive change

In addition, as the Senior Infrastructure Architect, you will:

  • Partner with Lighting cloud team to liaison with corporate for networking of AWS and other SaaS & PaaS cloud offerings
  • Design and implement Enterprise Network Solutions to support current and future business operations
  • Collaborate with Commercial Product Teams on cutting edge IoT products and services
  • Proactive health, capacity, failover planning and obsolescence management in the core network
  • Partner with applications teams to deliver secure configurations to support application migrations within our cloud environment
  • Review new design and architecture standards to enhance quality ensuring standards can be supported operationally
  • Provide L2 / L3 support for GE s edge network environment
  • Proactive health, capacity, failover planning and obsolescence management in the edge network
  • Leading programs focused on improving the performance and availability of our edge network
  • Leading the restoration of highly critical incidents
  • Leading the change planning / scripting / implementation of high profile changes
  • Leading the follow up and investigative actions for systemic problems in the environment
  • Please Note: Position will be based in East Cleveland, OH.
    Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor s Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting large enterprise network infrastructure and primary design, architecture or support role in network infrastructure

  • Please Note: Position will be based in East Cleveland, OH.
    Desired Characteristics:
  • Prefer current industry certifications like CISCO CCNP / CCDP
  • Software Defined Networking experience (SD-WAN)
  • Experience with integrating with 3rd party SaaS, PaaS, IasS and Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with designing and implementing Internet Ingress/Egress solutions
  • Design and implementation of large Enterprise Networks with multiple global sites
  • Preferred minimum of 2-3 years working with telephony, VoIP and telecom vendors
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster.
