THE POSITION The ideal candidate, under general supervision, performs semi-skilled facilities maintenance and repair work; performs custodial and cleaning duties in municipal buildings/facilities and adjacent grounds; performs related work as assigned.
TRAINING, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE Any combination of training and experience that provides the above listed knowledge, skills and abilities may be qualifying.
A typical way of qualifying would be:
Equivalent to high school graduation/GED and six months of work experience in custodial and minor facilities maintenance/repair work.
Must possess a valid California Class C driver license.
Depending on assignment, some positions may require ability to pass a Police Department background evaluation.
